Rehearse the interview before you sit it

Until now the product stopped helping at the moment that decides the outcome. We take you through finding the vacancy, judging the fit, tailoring the CV and sorting the mail — and then you get a calendar invite and you are on your own.

An application sitting in Screening or Interview on your tracking board now carries a Rehearse button. It opens a mock interview for that specific job.

The agent speaks first: it reads the vacancy, the fit analysis and — if the employer’s invitation is in your connected mailbox — what they said about the format, then asks which round you want to run. A recruiter screen, behavioural questions, questions about your CV, a technical round on their stack, system design, or the offer conversation. One round per rehearsal, the way a real loop works.

Then it asks. One question at a time, and it waits.

Where the questions come from

Not from a generic list. They come from the vacancy’s own requirements, with your experience bank attached to each one, which means the agent knows two different things about every requirement:

• You have evidence for it. Then you should practise saying it out loud, because knowing a story and telling it well under pressure are not the same skill.
• You have nothing for it. Then that is where you will struggle in the room — so struggle here first, where it costs nothing.

After each answer you get a short read on it: did you say what you did or what the team did, is there an actual outcome, and is that outcome a number when a number plainly exists. No praise padding. An answer that was genuinely good gets a clause and the next question.

What it will not do

It will not put words in your mouth. If you tell it something real that your experience bank does not already hold, it will say so and ask whether to record it — and it stores your words, not its paraphrase of them. A rehearsal is where people improvise, and an improvisation filed as evidence is a claim you never made. Nothing is recorded on a maybe.
