Autofill no longer waits for you to build a CV

The extension fills the boring top of an application form for you — name, email, phone, location, your LinkedIn and GitHub. Until now it read those from one place: a CV built in the editor here. If you had only ever uploaded a CV, the form came back with your account email and nothing else.

That was the wrong place to look, and for most people it was the only place with nothing in it. An uploaded CV is already parsed into fields — your name, your number, your links are sitting there the moment the upload finishes. Autofill now reads them.

The order is: a CV you built here first, then the one you uploaded, then your account email on its own. Nothing else changes about how you use it — if you have never opened the editor, the extension simply starts working.

Your own edits win outright. A CV you built here answers for the whole form, gaps included: if you cleared your phone number from it on purpose, autofill leaves the phone field empty rather than quietly filling it back in from the upload. The two are not mixed.

Tailored copies are never used. When you tailor a CV for a particular vacancy, that copy stays with that vacancy — it is not what a form for some other company gets filled from.
