Human Resources Officer

About the Position: Serves as a Human Resources Officer for the Joint Activities Command at Fort Bragg, NC.

Provides extensive staff advice and guidance on human resources planning and management issues, policies, and practices for joint forces world-wide.

Advise the headquarters and supported units on career management and functional responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulatory, administrative, and procedural requirements.

Serves as key member of the commands resource planning teams that consider budget, manpower, personnel, and mission aspects of management, and resource issues such as downsizing, realignments, and reorganizations.

Monitor current SOF operations, providing the commands senior leadership with critical HR situational awareness.

Supervise activities of the directorate, determining the scope and objectives of assignments, resources required resolving problems, and developing policies.

Assist the commander with strategy assessments to address strategic direction spanning force employment, force development, and force design.
